Myanna is well qualified to be a judge

Having been a practicing attorney and a member of the State Bar of California in good standing for more than 10 years, Myanna is qualified to run for judge in California.

The Los Angeles Times noted that she is “bright and capable.” The Metropolitan News-Enterprise wrote that “[s]he has a brilliant mind and ideal judicial demeanor.”

For good reason, the American Bar Association finds that professors with as good qualifications as Myanna (see experience) can and should be judges.

Many excellent judges come from non-trial backgrounds both in California and on the federal bench, including the United States Supreme Court. See recommendations here and here.

With all Myanna's qualifications, the president of LACBA - a private association - singlehandedly appointed a committee that found that my background is not what they see as relevant.  That’s their opinion! Keep in mind that the judicial evaluations are done by a committee and only 38% were female, virtually none of color, and all members were appointed by the LACBA president!.. The factors used by the bar are not a reflection on their ability.

It should be noted that then President of LACBA, Ronald F. Brot, received recognition from Los Angeles County District Attorney, Jackie Lacey. Myanna's opponent works for Jackie Lacey.

LACBA also falsely claim that they “evaluated the candidates’ legal knowledge.” The State Bar of California is “the bar.”  Voters beware!
